A MAN who suffered head injuries when he fell from a boat working near Hinkley Point was rescued from the sea by lifeboat and coastguard crews on yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The man was taken ashore to be treated by a waiting ambulance crew but was not seriously hurt.
The spokesman added: “Given the height of the fall, he was very lucky that the injury wasn’t as serious as first thought.
“He was also dressed in full safety equipment and lifejacket, which without doubt avoided what could have been a very different outcome.”
