A MOTORCYCLIST was injured and airlifted to hospital after a road accident involving a car at Cottiford, Stogumber, at 12.22pm yesterday (Sunday).

Two fire engines, one from Williton and the other from Minehead, went to the scene and assisted paramedics in clearing a space for the air ambulance to land.
