NETHER Stowey firefighters were called to Lime Street, Stogursey, last night to deal with a chimney fire which they reached with the use of a 13.5m ladder and a triple extension ladder.

Once the fire had been extinguished, the area was made safe and the crew stayed at the scene to monitor the chimney for hot spots.
