Watchet Chamber of Trade (WACET) has obtained funds for 40 new hanging baskets, plus the funds to plant them for this year.

They are available to businesses in Anchor Street, Swain Street and Market Street, and were paid for from the Welcome Back to Shopping in Watchet fund.

WACET can supply the fully filled baskets this year free of charge - but property owners will be responsible for watering them.

Traders will need to obtain and fit strong brackets and the funding is only for this summer - WACET will then own the baskets for future years, when there will be a cost to plant them.
