PARAMEDICS helped a casualty out of a building and into a waiting ambulance after a gas leak at premises in Manor Road, Minehead, on Sunday.
The patient was taken to hospital to be checked for carbon monoxide poisoning.
Minehead fire station sent two engines to the scene at the request of the ambulance service shortly after 8am. The crews could smell gas and a thorough investigation of the property using gas monitoring equipment detected a leak, believed to be coming from the gas boiler.
