AN elderly woman was led to safety when frying pan caught fire in the kitchen at sheltered housing in Minehead on Wednesday evening (October 19).
The fire service was initially called to a report of alarms operating within a property in Blenheim Road. On arrival, crews confirmed it was a small fire involving food stuffs on cooker.
The fire was confined to a frying pan and the cause was accidental.
