MINEHEAD firefighters found their path blocked by parked cars when called to a blaze in woods at Alcombe Combe yesterday.

The spokesman said the blaze was started by a discarded campfire in a fir plantation.
He added: “We would remind everyone to park so that emergency vehicles can pass and to keep their movements and activities within the current Government covid guidelines.”
