THE annual World Book Day saw pupils taking part in all of Beacon Education’s West Somerset schools from the very youngest to the oldest students.
In Minehead Middle School, King Edward Road Nursery, St Michael’s First School, and Minehead First School, pupils dressed as an array of favourite book characters, showing creativity and artistic flair.
Old Cleeve First School saw 104 - rather than the usual 101 – playful, but well behaved Dalmatians enjoy the day, while students in Danesfield Middle School chose a comfier approach with their attire, using the ‘what you wear to read’ theme as a guide, many enjoying a story in their pyjamas.
