TWO people were given oxygen after fire broke out in a shower unit inside a holiday cabin at Butlin’s, Minehead, on Easter Sunday morning.

Two fire engines from Minehead went to the fire, which was above the shower unit and involved the electrics. It was extinguished using breathing apparatus, an attack jet, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the building.
Crews administered oxygen therapy to the two casualties who then took themselves to the local minor injuries unit.
