THREE fire engines were called to Cuhuish Lane, Broomfield, at 4.16am this morning when a kitchen stove caught fire.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus put out the fire using a hose reel jet, a safety jet and two CO2 extinguishers. They also used a thermal imaging camera and applied positive pressure ventilation. 

The fire crews were from Taunton and the cause was accidental.
