The final line-up of the bands performing at this year’s Weirfest have been announced with a seven-piece ska band headlining the Saturday night.

The Weirfest beer festival, based at The Bottom Ship Inn in Porlock Weir, will see thousands of visitors going to sample a selection of more than 50 real ales and ciders on offer over four days from Thursday to Sunday July 4 to 7.

And the event will feature 12 local bands taking to the stage day and night.

Bullet Train kick off the Thursday night while Friday will feature Merv and His Magic Tones and Lucky 13, with Silverback rounding off the night.

Saturday will welcome Bossa Beleza, Exmoor Do Dahs, Grouvecat, Time Travellers and ska band Shoot The Moon, while Sunday visitors will listen to the Dark Town Strutters, Levi and The Bean and the ever-popular Rough Justice.

This year also sees the launch of a new logo which will be used on souvenir t-shirts and glasses on sale at the event.

Entry to the festival is free and a minibus, costing £1 each way, will run between The Top Ship Inn in Porlock and The Bottom Ship Inn in Porlock Weir on the Thursday and Friday nights and from 12 noon until late on Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be a barbecue and hog roast.
