THE 109th Wivey Show has gone down a treat featuring incredible area talent, say organisers.

The show took place on the Wiveliscombe Recreation Ground on Saturday, August 16.

Chairperson, Kirsty Boutflower said: “We hoped that the numbers who attended would increase again especially with such a good weather forecast and it was great to see that despite the dry summer, exhibitors in the Main marquee had plenty of fruit, veg and flowers on display.

“Entries held up well across the board especially in those sections that had struggled in recent years which was really pleasing to see. We have so much incredible talent in the area and it’s lovely to see so much of it on display.

“We are once again overwhelmed how well it has gone this year and I would like to thank absolutely everyone involved including sponsors, judges, helpers and an incredible team behind the scenes.

“We are committed to making this show a memorable occasion every year and hope to continue to build for the future.”
