WATCHET Town made a winning start in their season in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League by winning 2-1 away to Combe St Nicholas.

Watchet led 2-0 at half time - thanks to goals by Adam Jefferies and Man of the Match Billy Jones.

It looked as though Watchet would not concede but Combe pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the last minute.
