LOCAL professional Ryan Searle has been drawn against the number two seed and former champion Peter Wright in the second round of the Betfred World Matchplay Darts Championships at the Winter Gardens at Blackpool tomorrow (Wed).

Searle, the number 15 seed, came through a tricky first round match against former world No 1 Raymond van Barneveld 10-4.

Van Barneveld beat Searle in their previous meeting and has been in good form since coming out of retirement.
