MINEHEAD remain second in the Premier Division of the Somerset Cricket League despite a disappointing loss away to Lympsham & Belvedere over the weekend.

Minehead, put into bat, were bowled out for 130 with only three batters - opener Gregg Howard, vice-captain Dan Bowditch and Andy Marsh.

Matthew Davis was Lympsham's best bowler, taking 4-43 while Jack Neville finished with figures of 2-13.

Lympsham were never in any serious trouble of not scoring the runs, losing only four wickets with plenty of overs to spare.

Minehead are 19 points behind leaders Long Sutton and ten points ahead of third-placed Temple Cloud.
