MINEHEAD will be looking to bounce back after their dismal display against Peasedown Miners Welfare when they play away to Westfield in Division One of the Uhlsport Somerset County League tomorrow (Sat).

The Seasiders, who face three successive away fixtures, have slipped back to eighth in the table after losing 4-0 at home to peasedown.

Admittedly, they have games in hand on most of the teams above them but it is difficult to see how they can mount a challenge for Promotion from the current position.

Staplegrove are leading the table but they have played more games than any other side in the division.

Unfortunately Watchet Town, who are five points behind the Grove with two games in hand, find themselves without a fixture.

Watchet club spokesman Nick Sully said: "Obviously we want to keep the momentum going when you have a run going.

"We have a fairly injury-free squad at the moment - and we've got Adam Bishop back again playing in goal."

Watchet won 1-0 away to Ashton & Backwell last weekend and Sully added: "Overall I didn't think either side deserved to win. But that was the case at home against Ashton earlier this season when they beat us - so it's swings and roundabouts."
