MINEHEAD will be aiming to maintain their fine start to the season when they play at home to Shapwick & Polden in the Premier Division of the Somerset League today (Sat).

Minehead were in fine form last weekend when they beat Bridgwater 3rd XI by 117 runs after bowling out the home side for 96.

They go into today’s game joint leaders with Taunton Deane 2nd XI - the two teams relegated from the Somerset Division of the West of England League last season.

Shapwick are lying eighth in the table.
