MINEHEAD Cricket Club's Juniors have been training on Tuesday evenings at the ground for several weeks ahead of their opening league matches over the weekend of 5th 6th and 7th May.

The 9-11 year olds train between 5.30 and 6.30pm, while the Under 13s and Under 15s are from 6.30 - 8.00pm

In addition for those in the Under 9s the club is hoping to enter some of the Bradfords Festivals that are being run by the Somerset Cricket Foundation (formerly the Somerset Cricket Board.)

Young cricketers, both boys and girls of any ability, will be welcomed and to find out more call Barry Swann, the MCC Junior Organiser, on 07725 987966 or just go along on Tuesday evening- all equipment is provided.
