FOUR representatives from Minehead Barbarian Rugby Football Club, James Baker, Dick Tucker, Steph Tucker and Richard Parsons have visited St Peter’s First School in Williton.
During their time at St Peters on behalf of the rugby club, they group talked to the pupils in years 2 ,3 and 4 on how the rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship (TREDS) can be applied to every day life.
The children really bought in to the whole ethos and the four children pictured really loved their water bottle prizes for winning the quiz!
MBRFC would like to thank Catherine Gibbons and Maida White for accommodating them and hopefully some of the children will now be asking to join the rugby family!
There will be training this Sunday at Minehead Rugby Club at 10:30am when children from reception up are more than welcome to pop along and see if it’s something they would like to be involved.
