MINEHEAD Hockey Club welcomed a host of past, present and ladies players for their annual Henry Bissell Memorial Match last Saturday.

There was great representation for both the men's and ladies teams, and the past players also managed to field an entire team.

A round-robin format saw three mixed teams play 25-minute matches, with honours nicely spread. Post-match refreshments at the Britannia Inn saw old friendships rekindled after many years as ex-players made the trip to play from across the country, with vital funds raised for the Elliot's Touch Charity.

Hockey action gets under way again tomorrow (Sat) as the 2nd XI travel to Tiverton, and then all three sides play tomorrow week as they look to establish themselves in their respective leagues.
