MORE than 100 golfers took part in the Oake Manor Golf Club Saturday Stableford with some excellent scoring.

In division 1 Martin Rivers came first with 38 points with Mark Popham second on 37 points while Eamon Leigh was third, also with 37 points. Cliff Trott won division 2 scoring 39 points, Charles Hardman came second with 38 points and Paul Coleman was third, also with 38 points. The best scores of the day were in division 3 with winner Ashley Evans scoring 40 points, second placed Gareth Nation also had 40 points while Robert Jenkins came third with 39 points.

Bob Tye won the Sunday Stableford, scoring 40 points in division 1 while Kieran Ashton came second with 37 points and Simon Greaves third with 36 points. In Division 2 Chris Cannon came first with 39 points, Adam Cornish was second with 37 points and Thomas Salter came third with 35 points.

Kathryn Salway won the Ladies Sunday Medal scoring nett 69, Suzanne Ward came second with nett 71 while Patricia Frazer was third with nett 74.

John Phripp won the Seniors Order of Merit Stableford on Monday with an excellent score of 41 points, Michael Speed came second in division 1 with 38 points and John Matravers was third also with 38 points. Peter McKellar won division 2 scoring 39 points while David Free came second with 37 points and Ian Hockey was third with 36 points.

Jenny Swann won the Senior Ladies Trophy, for over 60 year olds, on Tuesday in the Stableford. Jenny scored 41 points in division 2 with Judy Mckellar second with 39 points and Sally Jackson third with 38 points. Jenny Musgrove won division 1 with 40 points, Amanda Mather came second with 38 points while Beverly King was third with 37points.

Charlie Wingfield won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford Competition with 46 points.
