TENNIS coach Dan Sizer scored an unbeaten ton for Bridgetown in the first division of the West Somerset Cricket League - but still finished on the losing side against leaders Kilve.
Sizer hit 104 not out, but received little support from his teammates although Freddy Stevens made 22 and Rob Stevens 16 not out.
Rio Rock (52), Will Monro (53) and Carl Clemenson (54 not out) were in good form for Kilve who won by seven wickets to stay top of the table.
Lydead St Lawrence's hopes of staying with the leaders suffered a blow when they lost by eight wickets against Stoke St Mary who bowled out their rivals for 95.
Holford won their first game of the summer when they beat Over Stowey by 60 runs. The winners made 174-9 in their 40 overs.
Brompton Ralph slumped to a 133-run home loss against Morebath who piled up 328-8 after batting first. Daniel Menago led the scoring with 87 for Brompton whose main other contributor to their 195 was B Pook with 43.
Toby Radford was Morebath's bowler of the day, taking 5-27 in seven accurate overs. D Smith also took 3-32 and Miles Dobson 2-34.
Earlier Smith scored 96 as Morebath went past the 300-run mark while James Carey and Carl Hooper both scored 40.
Bagborough fell agonisingly eight runs short in beating Winsford who scored 200-6. Bagborough were all out for 193 in 36.1 overs with Blake Jones not out 80.
In Division Two Churchinford won by 86 runs after reducing home side Fitzhead to 163 with Andrew Layard hitting 60, including ten fours.
Huish Champflower were nine-wicket winners away to Crowcombe, who crashed to 66 all out with Martin Powell (3-12) and Leigh Milton-Fife (3-20) causing havoc.
Nathan Hill (21 not out) and Toby Jenkiins (29 not out) showed there was nothing wrong with the wicket.
Carhampton, Stogumber and Watchet all won by more than150 runs in home fixtures in Division Three.
Carhampton scored 293-6 against Bishops Hull with Luke Milton slamming 125 in their 166-run victory over the Taunton outfit, while Stogumber rattled up 345-2 against West Monkton with Elias Hayes being the batter of the day with 230. Alistair Benham was 52 not out.
Roadwater top Division Four following an 82-run win over East Huntspill who were shot out for 104 in chasing 186-8. Joe Murch (40) and Harry Mouzouri (52 not out) top scored for Roadwater with Aashish Jinesh taking 4-15 for the losers. Six bowlers claimed wickets when East Huntspill batted.
