WATCHET Town have been forced to call off tomorrow’s (Sat) away match against Wells City Reserves in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League.

Nick Sully, in charge of the playing side of the club, said this afternoon (Fri): “We cannot raise a side - it’s as simple as that. We have more than a team unavailable.”

Watchet have played only two matches so far, losing 9-2 to Nailsea United and 3-0 to Chard Town - both away. They will be fined for calling off tomorrow’s game and will have points deducted.

Meanwhile, Minehead will be looking to bounce back after their defeat by Peasedown Miners Welfare last weekend when they play away to Burnham United in the first division tomorrow.

United have played only one game, winning 4-0 away to Keynsham Town Reserves.
