WATCHET Town kept up the pressure at the top of the first division in the Uhlsport Somerset County League with a 5-0 thumping of Castle Cary at the Memorial Ground.

Billy Jones (2), Brandon Walsh, Alfie Cox and Adam Jefferies netted the goals for Watchet who led 3-0 at half time.

It means they remain six points behind leaders Staplegrove with two crucial matches in hand. Unfortunately, the Grove have a far superior goal difference.

Minehead ended a lean spell with a 2-2 home draw against promotion-chasing Yatton & Cleeve United.
