WELLINGTON Sunday XI romped to a 165-run home victory over Crowcombe in a friendly at the Playing Field yesterday (Sun).

Two of Wellington's batters, Jacob Hurry (112) and Sandaken Pathirana (110) hit tons before retiring as Wellington piled up a score of 334-4. Crowcombe used eight bowlers in a bid to dislodge the century-makers with Sep Chipp eventually taking 2-57 and Tyrone Ash 2-40.

Crowcombe slumped to 50-6 before eventually being bowled out for 169 with Rob White top scoring with 34. Oli Hutchings took 3-12 and Tyler Fyfe 3-22.
