MINEHEAD will be looking to bounce back after their 48-run loss at Chard when they play at home to Bridgwater 3rd XI in the Premier Division of the Somerset Cricket League on Saturday, May 24.

Despite losing two of their opening three matches, Minehead are lying fourth in the table, only 20 points behind early leaders Taunton Deane 2nd XI.

Bridgwater are the only side in the division yet to lose, having won their opening two fixtures, beating Frome and North Petherton.

Minehead 2nd XI, who have a 100 per cent winning record after three games in Division Three, play away to Cheddar who have lost their first two matches.

Wiveliscombe will be hoping for a better result away to Chard 2nd XI after losing their opening three fixtures, the latest being a seven-wicket defeat against Street in a high-scoring game. Matthew Redwood hit 158 for Wiveliscombe, including 27 boundaries.
