SUNDAY saw Dunster Cricket Club travel to Ilton to take part in their first-ever six-a-side tournament, and they emerged the winners.

Dunster were one of six teams competing, and after winning both their group games against the hosts and the All Stars, they booked their place in the final against Compton House.

Compton won the toss and batted first, and with Dunster’s bowling proving too good for them they were all out for 39. Rob Spiers did the most damage with 4-9.

In reply, Dunster got off to a good start and reached their target with an over to spare.
