MINEHEAD Amateur Boxing Club starts training for the new season on Wednesday (September 2) – and is offering potential boxers some free sessions.
Trainer David Lewis explained that the idea of free training had come from club president Danny McGee.
“Unfortunately, Danny is not very well, but with his love for boxing, he has said that anybody aged 12 to 30, male or female, who comes to the club will be offered free training throughout September, giving them a chance to see if they have a passion for boxing,” said Dave.
Anyone interested can go along to the club’s gym in the car park at Minehead Railway Station - training will take place from 7 to 9pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
