MINEHEAD and West Somerset Golf Club’s A team travelled to Enmore Park in Division Three of the Avalon League and although they lost 31/2-11/2 they secured 41/2 valuable points towards their push for promotion.

Their winning pair were Dave Oatridge and Dave Dennis and Ollie Smith and junior Owen Thresher picked up the half.

Losing pairs were Paul Fullbrook and Dave Hillier, Chris Yeates and Tony Hardick and Gareth Latham and Darryl Gardner.
