Police are appealing for witnesses after three youths broke into a car parked in Larkspur Crescent, Yeovil.
The incident took place at around 4.20am on Monday, February 4th. An attempt was made to gain entry by forcing a door open with a screwdriver or a similar instrument.
This failed, so the perpetrators smashed a window instead, which triggered the alarm.
It is believed the youths made off in a white car, possibly a Ford Orion. The suspects are described as white in their late teens, one of them being about 5ft 11 tall and wearing dark clothing.
