WOMEN’S World Day of Prayer services – entitled All God’s Creation is Very Good – will be held in West Somerset on Friday (March 2).
This year’s service has been written by the women of Suriname, in South America, and has been translated into more than 95 languages and 1000 dialects that will be spoken as it cascades around the globe.
Locally, services will be held in Watchet Methodist Church at 2.30pm and a shortened version in The Sanctuary, Swain Street, at 7.30pm.
A service will also be held at 10.30am in St George’s Church, Dunster, where parking will be available.
Women’s World Day of Prayer is does not exclude men – it is for everyone who cares about the world and those who live in it.
