The remaining stumps do not seem diseased but maybe there is a plausible reason for this expenditure.
However, why has the detritus been left scattered on the park for the last couple of months?
Surely the tree specialists engaged by the parks department should have removed all the trunks and branches to leave the park clear and safe for the public to enjoy?
