SIR — On Sunday evening I came across an Exmoor Park Ranger attempting to sort and clear-up a pile of rubbish dumped by the tank ramps at Moor Wood on North Hill. There were loads of bin bags full of all sorts of not very nice rubbish, empty drinks cans and bottles, towels, dirty pants and a blanket. Underneath all this was a vast amount of broken glass (drinks bottles). I stayed and helped the ranger and also took some of the bags to the bins as she didn't have enough room in her Land Rover. It tooks us both about an hour to clear the mess. Why did someone dump this rubbish there? Who do they think is going to move it? Do they have no comprehension of the injuries this broken glass can cause to people and animals? I can't understand these people. Gail Everett, Clipper Quay, Minehead.
