Re ’Selfish, greedy and ignorant’ (March 27): the production of an ID as proof of age in the "vulnerables" hour could be a solution; and, of course, those without would be admitted upon visual discretion.

But what about the illiterate, apparently unable to read "One customer at a time please"? I have been in circumstances twice this week when another person burst in and had to be asked to wait outside. 

And may I make a polite reminder to dog owners – even your dog might chase sheep!
