WEST Somerset Advice caught up with staff and volunteers who were unable to attend the AGM in November and so missed out on being handed long service awards and accreditations.

They were presented instead at the Christmas lunch held at Foxes Academy, in Minehead, by chairman Rollo Clifford.

Among them were three long service awards – to Pam Tyler, recently retired Dan Clark and Howard Mounfield.

Between them they have spent over 90 years offering advice and support across West Somerset, living through many changes and keeping up with computer systems and updates in social welfare law.

The other notable award was presented to money advice supervisor Sarah Buchanan.
