PUDDING Night, a popular Watchet Live Carnival fundraiser, was held on Saturday (April 6) – and raised over £700.

There were many homemade creations to choose from, with no limit on portions, and a well-stocked cheeseboard along with tea and coffee, followed by a quiz and raffle.

Proceeds from the night, held at Watchet Royal British Legion Club, will go towards Watchet Carnival Weekend on July 27 and 28.

The next carnival fundraising event is the Wheelbarrow Race on Sunday, May 26 on The Esplanade. More photos in tomorrow’s Free Press (April 12).
