SIR — Please may I say thank you to all the regular West Somerset health walkers and members of the public who came on the Countryfile Ramble sponsored walk for Children in Need in October 8.

Thirty-three people came to Bossington and had a three and a half-mile walk to Hurlestone Point, through the Holm Oak Forest to Lynch and back.

There were also several friends who couldn’t walk with us but sent sponsorship money. You all helped to raise £310 which has been sent to the BBC. Well done to everyone who supported us.
