DUNSTER villagers rolled up their sleeves and got to grips with gravel, rakes and a convoy of wheelbarrows to enhance their village garden.

And people power proved the order of the day as the job was done in just 45 minutes!

Dunster Village Garden Trust committee member Margaret Rogers said: “The beauty of the Village Garden is it is part of our community and anyone can join in. It is quiet and peaceful.

“Some people may live in a flat and can’t enjoy a garden. But here is ideal.

“No one is looking over your shoulder and judging. People can work anywhere they like and don’t need green fingers. It just needs to be tidy and loved.”
