A DESCENDANT of R D Blackmore’s publisher recently visited the Lorna Doone display at the Exmoor Society headquarters.

George Low, descendant of Sampson Low, spoke to the archivist Dr Helen Blackman and chairman of the society Rachel Thomas about the Low family archives and the publisher’s correspondence with Blackmore.
