Currently, St George's Church has just five bells and a ready band of trained and trainee bellringers is keen to have another to enable them to ring more interesting peals.
On Saturday, campaigners officially launched Bicknoller's Jubilee Bell Appeal in the village hall, giving residents the chance to find out more about the appeal and plans to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the village.
Residents were able to enjoy a cream tea and were invited to help raise money for a flower festival, which will also be held in the village during a special jubilee week of celebrations.
