A VAN was destroyed and a garage was damaged in a fire in Whitegate Road, Minehead, last night.

Two fire engines went to the scene – a single storey garage, which was well alight when the crews arrived at 8.40pm. 

The van was completely damaged and the building was 25 per cent damaged by fire.
