ll are welcome to attend Townsend House’s annual general meeting on Monday November 11 at 10.30am. 

Please come along and find out what is happening - volunteers are always needed and new members can join at the modest membership fee of £5 per annum then receive mailings of all activities.

Since the end of June, with an open day, plant and book sale, then in August the Fitzwarren Musicians’ chamber concert and in October the Acorn Shanty Crew’s concert, we have been able to raise £776 for the house.

We would like to thank everyone who attended, donated prizes and refreshments and helped in any way. 

Our target now is to reach £1000 by Christmas, but also to bring Townsend House alive and for as many people as possible to enjoy this wonderful town asset and its excellent facilities.

Please do come and support our next two events the first an Afternoon Soirée of Song, Poetry and Music with light refreshments on Thursday November 21 from 2.30 to 4.30pm.  Tickets are on sale at the Regal Box Office for £6, and there will be a raffle. 

The second is a Christmas coffee morning on Thursday December 12 from 10am to12 noon at Townsend House. Christmas piano duets will be played and there will be a bring and buy table - please help by pricing your items.
