VETERAN charity fundraiser Keith Hunt takes on another challenge on Saturday, September 10.
He will attempt to walk 100 kilometres non-stop beside the River Thames to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Caretaker at Washford’s Old Cleeve School, Keith will be participating in the Thames Path Challenge, a two-day fund-raising event for runners and walkers.
There are several categories and the 100 kilometre route, from Putney Bridge in London to Henley-on-Thames, is the longest.
Keith has a long history of successful fund-raising ranging from sponsored cycle rides and parachute jumps to trekking in the Himalayas, but he said this challenge will be particularly tough.
