DENISE Sage, retired manager of Porlock Visitor Centre, has been given a special award which is only handed out every two years by the UK National Parks.

Known for her can-do attitude, she was presented with an Order of National Parks during the Exmoor Tourism Conference at the Beach Hotel in Minehead.

Denise never misses an opportunity to promote Exmoor and the award was in recognition of her outstanding contribution to national park purposes.
