SIR — When is the council going to invest in respectable toilet facilities for Minehead town centre?

The ones situated adjacent to the Co-op Pioneer supermarket are disgusting to say the least.

As a much travelled resident of Minehead, I can list them alongside the worst I've ever encountered elsewhere in the country.

I used to wonder what the tourists thought until I happened on a group of mature tourist who were appalled at the state of the said toilets. They were extremely shocked at how cramped the cubicles were and how grubby.
