TIMBERSCOMBE toddlers stepped out on Wednesday to raise money for the national charity, the Meningitis Trust.

Organised by Jo Brooke and sponsored by Tony Brooke Carpets and Flooring in the village, the group set off from the carpet company for a sponsored 'Toddle Waddle' around Timberscombe.

Mrs Brooke was joined by her daughter Ella for the challenge, as well as Toni and Matthew Sherrin, Paula Woolgrove and Niamh Fewlass.

Even Ella and Niamh's grandmother Marion Fewlass joined in to show her support for the event.

Each 'waddler' was awarded a certificate and a sticker to mark the occasion.

Now in its tenth year, the national Toddle Waddle campaign has raised almost £2.3 million for the Meningitis Trust.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is World Meningitis Day and anyone who would like to sponsor the Timberscombe toddlers can make a donation to the trust by logging on to the website http://www.meningitis-trust.org">www.meningitis-trust.org.
