SIR — May I express my gratitude to the wonderful personnel at Williton Community Hospital.
Most of us find time to complain but seldom do we find time to praise, purely on the basis that we feel it is our right to be treated kindly.
Following treatment for cancer, I was privileged to be offered a place at Williton Community Hospital to recuperate. I was at a very low ebb when I arrived there.
I was greeted by wonderful staff who made me feel welcome and wanted from the moment I arrived. I immediately knew I was on my way to recovery at last.
It made a refreshing change not to hear staff running the NHS down. All staff without exception are proud of their hospital. I could ask any member of staff for anything and I was never greeted with "It's not my job".
If it was not within that person's jurisdiction then I was politely told they could not help but they would get the person who could help me, and it was done immediately.
I was helped every second of the day and night when I needed it. All the staff worked together with an excellent team attitude. All staff respect their team leader who is an exceptional person to have on board.
The hospital is immaculate and again the staff responsible for this go about their duties with a pleasant and happy attitude whilst doing an excellent job.
It is a pleasure to enter the hospital and all my visitors remarked on this and I must agree with what they say.
Last but by no means least, I would like to thank the doctors and staff from Williton Surgery who also help my recovery.
I am sure I am not alone in my thoughts on this lovely hospital.
Jenny Folan,
Croftways,
Williton.
