GARDENERS and beekeepers, artists and cooks are among those being called upon to enter Minehead and District Flower Show on Saturday, August 13.

The annual show at West Somerset College has a range of classes also including floral artists, wine makers, photographers and crafters.

In particular, allotment holders are encouraged to compete for their own trophy and children of West Somerset to join in the fun and enter their special classes.

Schedules and entry forms are available from many shops and outlets throughout Minehead or by ringing 01643 709033.

The organisers, Minehead and District Gardeners’ Association, would like to thank Minehead Town Council and many businesses in the town for their very generous support of the show.

All entry forms must be handed in at Butterflies Restaurant, Wellington Square, or to the show secretary Barbara Brady at 21 Lower Park, Minehead, by 4pm on Monday August 8.
