SIR — I am aware there are quite a few issues one could feel upset about in Minehead but I would like to add one of the many good things I have witnessed here. We are very fortunate to have a rubbish waste disposal place that is operated by men who are always extremely helpful, courteous and, even when the weather is bucketing down, will find a smile for you whilst helping to locate where one's rubbish should go. This kind-hearted spirit is shown to all. This is a great facility which I appreciate as, being a woman, I have certainly needed some help at times - and it's free! Many thanks to the boys who work with pride in Minehead tip for your continuous help. I do wonder why we hear about fly-tipping when we have the facilities here.
