TANT – the Tenants Association of the National Trust – is holding its AGM on Sunday (May 15) in Selworthy and Allerford Community Hall.

Presentations will be made on tenants’ rights under the Deregulation Act 2015, the future of tenants, and TANT and the National Trust. There will also be an open forum.

TANT is operated entirely by volunteers who are or have been National Trust tenants and was founded when the tenants of the Holnicote Estate set up a local group. In due course, it was created as a national association.

It provides input on national policies, helps individuals with tenancy and leasehold issues, and has been instrumental in the introduction of tenant handbooks, emergency contact numbers and a complaints procedure.

Sunday’s meeting starts at 11am. All National Trust tenants and leaseholders are welcome. Refreshments will be provided and entry is free.
